The Texas Longhorn Legacy Sale III set another record for the Texas Longhorn industry during the weekend of March 30-31,2007. The 2007 Texas Longhorn Legacy Sale III grossed over $2 million and 113 lots averaged $17,338. Buyers from across the nation bided competitively on some of the finest Longhorns in the breed. It was a sight to behold and another high mark for the Longhorn breed and the overall cattle industry.

Proceeds from the Friday night Special Heifer Sale, including donated auction items, benefited the University of Texas, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and the Fenza-Gaynor Family Endowment for Cancer Research at Penn State College of Medicine.

During the Saturday night Legacy Sale, all attendees were dressed in their finest for the Longhorn Industry’s most anticipated sale of the year. The Legacy Sale III raised over $160,000 for cancer research.
