Buckshot 769, owned by John and Dedee Roberts, Burnet, TX, was named the Grand Champion Trophy Steer in the Non-Haltered Competition at the recent Longhorn Show during the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo on February 3, 2007. The San Antonio Longhorn Show is sponsored each year by the South Texas Longhorn Association (STLA).

The crowds came to see those Longhorns and they got to see some impressive "tip-to-tip" horns as World Champion Trophy Steer, WOW KCC (right) and KC Ranger (left), both owned by Kimble Cattle Company, Karnes City, TX, posed for the audience during the recent Senior Non-Haltered Trophy Steer Competition at the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo.

Steven Zunker, Luling, TX, (left) served as Show Chair for the STLA San Antonio Show this year and was assisted by Daniel Harabis, Victoria, TX, (right) who coordinated the Non-Haltered Exhibition.

San Antonio Youth Show Winners:  (left) Sizzle's Queenie Two FD, exhibited by Kerri Krnavek, Seabrook, TX, was named Grand Champion Haltered Female, and Sunrise Snooper shown by Rachel Johnson, Seabrook, TX, (right), was named as the Reserve Grand Champion Haltered Female. Both young ladies are part of the NASA Longhorn Project. 

San Antonio Youth Show:  CS Ironman, exhibited by Mark Oliver, Waxahachie, TX, was selected as the Grand Champion Haltered Bull.

San Antonio Youth Show:  "Deer John" shown by Lacie Jeffrey, Smithville, TX, garnered the title of Grand Champion Haltered Steer.
