The sale day began early for some breeders as they arrived at the Will Rogers Memorial Center for the 2008 Horn Showcase Sale to get a last chance glimpse at the sale consignments. The crowd enjoyed a barbeque lunch before taking their seats in the near-to-capacity filled sales arena.
The first lot sold was a magnificent one of a kind oil painting of Texas Longhorns by Fort Worth artist Roger Iker. Next into the sale arena were Texas Longhorns from the industry’s premier programs.
