Legacy Donation To Benefit Eddie Wood Scholarship

A hydraulic truck-mount bale spear to be auctioned off during the Texas Longhorn Legacy Sale II weekend on Friday, March 17, 2006, with proceeds benefiting the Eddie Wood Scholarship Fund. TLBAA member Tom Wittrock of Ardmore, OK, donated the bale spear.

“This is really a handy piece of equipment,” said Wittrock. “It has two hardened removable spikes and best of all, it does not interfere with pulling a gooseneck trailer.”

Col. Wood will be officially honored with the scholarship in his name and a special award during the Legacy Sale II weekend.

Anyone wishing to send a monetary donation to the Col. Eddie Wood Scholarship Fund should send them to Charley and Doris Snyder, 12274 US Hwy. 62, Elgin, OK 73538
