Charley E. Snyder of Elgin, OK, died Saturday, November 21, 2009, in a Lawton Hospital. A Texas Longhorn breeder since 1980, Charley served as a director of the TLBAA, and was a member of the WR Cattle Co., the Oklahoma Texas Longhorn Association, and the Indian Territory Texas Longhorn Association.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Doris, six children and 13 grandchildren and a host of friends.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 25, in the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, Lawton, OK. Burial with military honors will be in Highland Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will follow the internment ceremony at the Hampton Inn and Suites, 2610 NW Cache Rd, Lawton, OK.
