After a late evening of celebrating at the 2007 Horn Showcase Awards Banquet and Auction, the sale day began early for some breeders as they arrived at the Watt Arena for the 2007 Horn Showcase Sale to get a last chance glimpse at the sale consignments. The crowd enjoyed a barbeque lunch before taking their seats in the near-to-capacity filled sales arena.

This year’s sale was filled with high quality consignments from the heart of many TLBAA members’ breeding programs. Before the sale TLBAA Chairman Dr. Fritz Moeller introduced Trails Editor in Chief Brenda Cantrell and Special Events Manager Allison Chipman and thanked the entire TLBAA staff for the tremendous effort that they made for the success of the 2007 Horn Showcase. He also announced the Mossy Horn Sponsors as they came down the aisle to accept a special recognition gift from Show Assistant Leslie Gandy. Christa Russell was introduced to sing the National Anthem, which she did magnificently. Dr. Moeller then introduced the 2007 Horn Showcase Chair Dr. Zech Dameron. Dr. Dameron also thanked all those that supported the show and the sale and called on Doug Hunt, Saint George, UT, to accept the awards for Premier Breeder and Premier Exhibitor for the 2007 Horn Showcase. Mr. Hunt was stunned and extremely delighted as he accepted both awards and thanked the crowd.
