Special Rangers Patrol Sale Barns for Stolen Cattle

The Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association (TSCRA) has deployed special agents across Texas to investigate cattle rustling and protect herds from thieves. The quick cash and absentee ranchers in Texas are easy prey for cattle rustlers and the TSCRA Special Agents are covering as much territory as possible. $2.5 Million in Cattle Stolen

St Paul, MN – Nearly $2.55 million cattle have been stolen from a livestock brokerage in St. Paul, MN, over the past five years. Employees of the brokerage are charged with embezzling money from the Central Livestock Association at the South St. Paul Stockyards. Read the full story here.

Missouri Couple Arrested on Cattle Theft Charges

A Missouri couple has been detained and arrested for allegedly stealing 99 head of cattle from a farm in north Audrain County in September of 2006. The Missouri Highway Patrol, the Missouri State Water Patrol and the Audrain County Sheriff’s Department took in Lewis Bowers Jr. and his wife Deanna to custody and have charged them with cattle theft. The Bowers had been living on farm owned by Ralph Mika, Mexico, MO. While living there the two had been stealing cows from Mika. The total value of the cattle stolen is estimated at $75,000.
