Texas Longhorn Dispatch Ruler D Dies

Courtesy of Star Creek Ranch

Dispatch Ruler D – 1986 daughter of Classic Dispatcher and Doherty’s Ruler – had to be put down at the age of 20 years due to arthritis and loss of teeth.  She was the dam of 13 natural calves – 11 registered cows and 2 registered bulls.  She was bred by Charlene Semkin and owned by Frank Anderson, The Pipe Ranch and last by Star Creek Ranch.  Dispatch was a wonderful representative of the Texas Longhorn breed.  She measured 69.75” TTT at her death; just didn’t quite make the 70”.  She was flushed at 18 years of age and produced 8 good embryos.  She raised her last natural calf at 18 years.  She was a favorite at Star Creek Ranch and will be missed.

R.I.P. Dispatch Ruler D
