TLBAA Members Tom and Michelle Smith have more than just a successful Horn Showcase to celebrate, they were married on October 7, 2006, in Lowell, MI. Congratulations to the happy couple and many blessings and good wishes for their future.
Members’ Longhorns Featured in Chevy Truck Commercial – Correction!
You might have noticed a commercial for Chevy Trucks on the Television recently that shows a timeline of Chevy trucks through the years. As the camera passes by a barbed wire fence and 80 years of American milestones are noted and a pair of Texas Longhorns run through a barbed wire fence as two cowboys are fixing the wire. Eleven-year-old TLBAA Member Kacey Clark, Santa Fe, NM, currently owns those Longhorns and was an extra in the commercial. Those Longhorns are Kacey’s Sweetheart JKW and LSC Red River Rose. Shirley Lemley, wife of TLBAA Chairman Joel Lemley, shared the news with Trails Editor Brenda Cantrell and E-Trails Editor Cole Dowden at the recent Horn Showcase Sale. Shirley said that she was overjoyed to see Longhorns in the commercial and Joel was just as surprised.
Kacey Clark’s Longhorns have had other acting credits; JC Blonde and JTW Vaquero were used in the filming of Coyote Moon, the prequel to Lonesome Dove. Congratulations to Kacey Clark! Thanks to the Lemley’s for sharing the news!
