Texas Longhorn Steer featured on GreenTruckTour.com
TLBAA members Carol and James Gentz, Winnie, TX, recently had their Longhorn Steers featured on GreenTruckTour.com. The Green Truck Tour is a promotional campaign by Windstream Communications, a telecommunications company that offers telephone, broadband Internet and Digital Satellite television services.
According to James Gentz, an office manager for Windstream’s local store called him up and asked if he would bring down a couple of Texas Longhorns for a quick photo shoot. Gentz said that his steers posed for pictures and the steers were “perfect gentlemen”.

TLBT Member Speaks to Classmates About Longhorns
TLBT Member Kelly Donnelly, Pulaski, TN, took two of his yearling calves to his school to talk on about Texas Longhorns. Teachers across school brought out their classes to hear why he loves his cattle and to learn about the unique breed. He then stayed after school to show them to the Leaps and Bounds After school program. Congratulations, Kelly!
