The TLBAA is just one big Longhorn family. Because of this close knit bond, we have decided to create a new page for all in the Longhorn world to be able to spread the word about family news.
Alan Clemmensen gets Western Cowman cover photo honors
Many of you know Alan Clemmensen of Fowler, CO. He is always behind a camera snapping pictures at Longhorn shows and sales. Taking all those pictures has paid off for Alan because one of his unique shots was featured on the cover of the May/June issue of Western Cowman.

Congratulations on making the cover, Alan!
TLBAA Member nominated for Poet of the Year Award
TLBAA member Glen West of Thorndale, TX, has been nominated for Poet of the Year Award by the International Society of Poets. Glen said he had been nominated every year since 1999 for his poetry but hasn’t been able to attend the annual convention of the Society of Poets. This year he plans on making the trip to Las Vegas on July 20-23 to read his poetry and possibly win the award.
Glen began self-publishing his poetry with Whisperings of a Lonely Cowboy Vol. 1 and his most recent edition, Vol. 2, is due out the beginning of July. He said his second volume of poetry will feature more cowboy styled poetry on subjects like rural life and nature. If you’d like a copy or to simply talk with him about his poetry, Glen welcomes emails at glen@westwindranch.com.
