E-Blast issues

Due to calls regarding members NOT receiving their E-Trails, please read the following instructions:

Please add the following address to your "safe senders list" in your address book, this is the origination address from our email client :

mail.vresp.com

Here is also a list of helps for different email clients that may help you do this: http://safesenderslist.com/

Also, if you are receiving it on your phone, but cannot see it on your home computer, you must check your email settings on your phone and be sure it is set to "keep a copy of the message on the server" otherwise it is only delivered to your mobile device.

We have "tested" this on a couple of the members and it took care of the issue. The spam and junk mail filters have been upgraded on most email clients to combat various issues. Also, a "safe senders" list can be completely different on varied interfaces.

OBJECTIVES

The Texas Longhorn Breeders Association of America (TLBAA), headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, was established to serve as the breed registry. Through its efforts, the number of cattle registered since 1964 has increased to well over a quarter million head. The founders of the TLBAA also envisioned it as the "voice" of the breed and its breeders. Its purpose is to protect the unique heritage of the Texas Longhorn, to preserve the purity of the breed, and to promote Texas Longhorns as a distinct breed while encouraging its future through promotion, education and research.

The second purpose of the TLBAA is to offer the highest quality membership services. Since it was founded in 1964 the number of TLBAA members has increased from a few dozen to almost 5,000 in 2003.

AFFILIATES

In order to strengthen the membership scattered across the United States, Canada, and foreign countries, the TLBAA has affiliates to serve Texas Longhorn breeders at the grassroots level with field days, shows and social meetings.

YOUTH
Realizing that the future of the breed lies with our younger cattlemen and women, the Texas Longhorn Breeders of Tomorrow has a very active program and their own show circuit.

SHOW CIRCUIT

The TLBAA’s World Qualifying Show Circuit is second to none. Winners of these shows held across the country are qualified to enter the prestigious Texas Longhorn Exposition held annually in Fort Worth. Because of the long distances involved, Canada has its own TLBAA Show Circuit.

EDUCATION

The Association has a Breed Advisory Council that is the envy of other cattle breeds. This group of animal scientists offers freely the benefit of their knowledge to the TLBAA membership.

PROMOTION

The TLBAA has an aggressive national advertising campaign designed to reach the maximum audience in publications devoted to beef as well as the traditions of the Old West.

COMMUNICATION

The TLBAA also boasts an award-winning monthly magazine, the Texas Longhorn Trails. Filled with the latest news about the breed and the Association, the Trails is sent to each TLBAA member and copies are distributed at events across the country.

PRESERVATION

If time or location limits your becoming a cattleman at this time, consider becoming a TLBAA Outrider. The Outriders serve as the preservation arm of the Texas Longhorn Breed in order to protect the unique heritage of the Texas Longhorn and its link with the history of America.
