2019 TLBAA World Expo

DATE –  June 26- June 30, 2019


This weekend event in comprised of the National TLBT Youth Show, TLBAA World Show, Trophy Steer Show, Miniature Show, Texas Gold Futurity, Senior Heifer Sale, Livestock Judging, Gold Merit, Photography Contest, Quiz Bowl, Breeders Memorial, and more. World Expo qualification letters will be mailed at the end of March and April. Premium schedule coming soon!

LOCATION- Bell County Expo Center, Belton, TX

We are excited to return to the Belton Expo Center in Belton, TX for our 32nd annual World Show. This year the show will be held in the new livestock building arena, which we believe will be a hit with contestants and members. This event features show winning Texas Longhorns that have qualified throughout the year to compete on the national level at the World Show.


Livestock Judging– Youth get an opportunity to judge a heifer, bull, steer, and cow calf classes. There is no cost to enter and prizes are awarded in each age division. No pre-registration required.

Photography-This year’s theme is your interpretation of a “Splash of Color”. The contest is open to all Youth & Adult members with prizes being awarded by age division; the cost to enter is $10 per submission. Photos will be on display at the event for all to enjoy.

Gold Merit Competition– A three-part event consisting of a public speaking contest, panel interview, and project book. For competition overview and requirements see entry packet. Participants MUST submit participation form by 5/4/19. Click for rules and forms

Quiz Bowl– Quiz Bowl tests exhibitor’s knowledge from agriculture, current news, and health topics discussed in Trails Magazine as well as the TLBAA Handbook.

TLBT Senior Sale – Help a TLBT Youth pay for higher education expenses and gain an outstanding Longhorn as well! The eligible graduating seniors will promote and auction off one of their Longhorns. If you are a senior and want to participate, click here.
